Our chief objective at Carlton Asset Management is to optimise real estate portfolios; this is defined by a number of different factors.

Sebastian Lüder - Managing Director / Partner

Since 1993, Sebastian Lüder has been Managing Director of the Lüder Group, founded by his father in 1956. His operational focus has been on repositioning and developing commercial properties throughout Germany and making his company one of Germany’s leading commercial specialists. The Lüder Group has so far successfully concluded transactions of a total investment volume of more than € 1.2 billion. The Lüder Group employs 57 permanent staff.

Jan Wehle - Managing Director / Partner

JIn 2001, Jan Wehle set up Frantzen & Wehle, a boutique legal practice, specialising in commercial real estate. Until the practice was sold to Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, he and his team advised their mostly London-based, clientele on transactions of a total value of over € 1.5 billion. Since 2011, Jan Wehle has been Managing Director of the joint venture project companies set up in cooperation with the Lüder Group and responsible for acquisition, disposal and legal management.

Thomas Eisenburger – Head of Asset and Property Management

Thomas Eisenburger is Managing Partner in the Lüder Group of Companies and has been with the firm for more than 25 years. Before he joined the Lüder Group in 1990, he had had a long career with a tax consulting and auditing company. His initial role with our group was as Head of the Finance and Accounts and Tax Department. In 1995, parallel to his activities with us, he successfully completed a degree in Real Estate Economics at the EBS Business School. His many years of experience and expertise make him a sought-after partner for all questions regarding property investment and property management.

Stephan Geiger – Head of Financial Management

Stephan Geiger has a degree in Business Studies and joined Carlton Investment Management GmbH as Partner after gathering 20 years of extensive experience as Managing Director Investment Strategy, Financial Management and Risk Management in the Real Estate and Project Financing departments of a major investment bank, GdW – Real Estate Association, DekaBank and Scope Ratings AG.

Carl Matthias Rathgen – Head of Project Development

Carl Matthias Rathgen has been with the Lüder Group and the Carlton Group as staff member and partner for more than 20 years. As Head of Project Development, he is responsible for the concept and realisation of real estate projects and for commercial project development.
